Get Started: Membership

To participate in Real Racing competitors must be aged 8+, complete a waiver and medical form.  Racers must purchase a Membership. The $110.62 Membership fee allows the member access to our facility and use of our equipment:

  • Sudbury Kartways long track (~700m)
  • Safety officials
  • Electronic timing system reports your lap times
  • Professionally prepared Italian competition Kart
  • Racing Helmet
  • Racing Suit
  • Rib Protector

Members must provide their own abrasion resistant gloves and shoes to participate.

Before receiving training members must select their preferred license option.

Option 1: Real Racing League

With a Real Racing Membership ($110.62) and racing league deposit ($123.90) you receive complimentary training and participate in our Real Racing League at Sudbury Kartways, Tuesday’s 6:00-9:00 PM.

  • Competitors must be aged 13+ and greater than 5’-4” tall to compete in the real racing league senior class (Based on membership numbers in option 2, junior (10-14) and novice (8-11) classes could be created. A minimum of 4 members is required to create a class).
  • League competitors are required to complete 10 races from the league schedule. Races 9 and 10 will be paid from their deposit ($123.90). Competitors who do not complete 10 races will forfeit all or part of their deposit.
  • League Competitors receive complimentary training, an $97.35 value.
  • In-class orientation and training at 6:00 PM (approx. 1hr)
  • On-track training: 3 - 10 minute practice sessions (approx. 1.5 hrs.)

A Real Racing League license entitles the member to Race any Tuesday night at Sudbury Kartways.

  • Race fee: $61.95 (45 laps total on the long track)
  • Racing sessions held on the long track (~700 meters)
  • Practice session (15 laps)
  • Qualifying session (10 laps)
  • Real Racing session (20 laps)

Extra Practice Sessions available on Tuesday’s from 5:30-6:00 PM.

  • Practice fee: $61.95 for 3 sessions

Option 2: Real Racing Experience

With your Real Racing membership ($110.62) and Experience license fee ($97.35) you can practice at Sudbury Kartways Tuesday’s from 5:30-6:30 PM.

  • Competitors must be aged 8+ to participate in the Real Racing Experience.
  • The $97.35 Experience license fee includes training.
  • In-class orientation and training at 6:00 PM (approx. 1hr)
  • On-track training: 3 - 10 minute practice sessions (approx. 1.5 hrs.)

A Real Racing Experience license entitles the member to Practice any Tuesday night at Sudbury Kartways.

  • Practice fee:  $61.95 for 3 sessions
  • Practice sessions held on the long track (~700 meters)
  • Practice session (15 laps)

Drivers must complete insurance waivers and medical form.
